Connect your AI assistant to LetBe.ai
Your assistant gave you these steps in the chat; this page holds the same steps. It takes about a minute. When you are done, go back to the chat and write connected.
ChatGPT
Prefer to watch? A short recording of these clicks, about a minute and a half.
- Open Settings (your profile picture, then Settings).
- Open Security and login and turn on Developer mode. ChatGPT marks it "elevated risk"; that is its standard warning for any outside connection. Close Settings.
- Go to chatgpt.com/plugins (or Settings, Plugins) and press the plus button. It offers three choices: pick Create app, then Create MCP App. Not "Create plugin": that opens a chat that cannot connect anything.
- Name:
LetBe.ai. Description:Builds and runs my LetBe.ai AI. Under Connection keep Server URL and enterhttps://letbe.ai/api/mcp. Authentication: OAuth. Tick the box that says you understand, then Create. - The new LetBe.ai entry shows a Connect button: press it, then Sign in with LetBe.ai. A LetBe.ai page opens; sign in if asked and press Allow. Press Refresh under Tools if the list is still empty.
- Back in your chat, press the plus in the message box and pick LetBe.ai from the list. The first time ChatGPT uses it, choose Always allow. Then write
connected.
Use chatgpt.com in your browser, on a phone too; the ChatGPT phone app hides these settings. Older ChatGPT versions call this "Connectors" or "Apps and Connectors" inside Settings, with Developer mode under Advanced settings. No Developer mode in your Settings at all? Then your ChatGPT cannot make outside connections; skip the connection and go to create.letbe.ai, describe the app in one sentence, and LetBe.ai builds it for you.
Claude (web, desktop or phone app)

- If LetBe.ai is in the list, press Connect next to it. Otherwise press Add custom connector, name it
LetBe.ai, enter the URLhttps://letbe.ai/api/mcpand press Add. Any Claude plan can do this, the free one too. - A LetBe.ai page opens. Sign in if asked, then press Allow.
- In a chat, press the plus in the message box, open Connectors and switch LetBe.ai on. The first time Claude uses a tool that changes something it asks you once; read-only ones run on their own.

Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other coding assistants
Nothing to set up. The assistant connects itself: it opens a LetBe.ai page in your browser (or shows you the link) and you press Allow. If you are not signed in, sign in once and you come straight back to that page.
Afterwards
Go back to the chat and write connected. You can see and disconnect every assistant at any time on your Developer page, AI Assistant tab.
